Countable & uncountable nouns
Neke imenice možemo brojati (a chair, two chairs), a druge obično ne (water, information, advice).
Brojive imenice
Brojive imenice imaju jedninu i množinu; uz jedninu obično ide a/an ili drugi odrednik.
Iza three ide množina apples.
Nebrojive imenice
Information, advice, furniture i luggage uglavnom se koriste bez množinskog -s.
Advice je nebrojivo.
Jedinice mere
Za nebrojivu imenicu možemo koristiti a piece of, a bottle of, a glass of i slično.
Za jednu porciju napitka posebno je jasno a glass of water.
