Going to & will – English Grammar A2

ENGLISH GRAMMAR · A2 · MINI LESSON

Going to & will

Budućnost izražavamo različito u zavisnosti od plana, spontanosti odluke i vidljivih znakova.

Going to za plan

Be going to koristimo za namere i planove formirane pre trenutka govora.

CorrectWe are going to visit our aunt tomorrow.
IncorrectWe going to visit our aunt tomorrow.

Ispred going to potreban je am/is/are.

Will za trenutnu odluku

Will često koristimo za spontanu odluku, obećanje ili ponudu u trenutku govora.

CorrectThe phone is ringing. I will answer it.
IncorrectThe phone is ringing. I answering it.

Za spontanu odluku odgovara will + osnovni oblik.

Going to za vidljiv dokaz

Going to koristimo za predviđanje na osnovu znaka koji sada vidimo.

CorrectLook at those clouds! It is going to rain.
IncorrectLook at those clouds! It will raining.

Predviđanje sa jasnim sadašnjim dokazom: is going to rain.

Zapamtite: Oba oblika mogu izraziti budućnost. U ovom testu dodatni kontekst označava baš onu upotrebu koja se vežba.
