Discourse markers & cohesion
Povezivači prikazuju kontrast, uzrok, rezultat i dodatak. Na C1 nivou važna je i gramatička konstrukcija koja sledi.
Despite / although
Despite + imenica ili -ing; although + potpuna klauza (subjekat + glagol).
Posle despite ide imenica ili gerund, ne potpuna klauza.
Therefore / nevertheless
Therefore izražava rezultat; nevertheless izražava kontrast u odnosu na očekivanje.
Kada je čekanje posledica nepotpunih podataka, therefore je jasan izbor.
Furthermore / whereas
Furthermore dodaje sličnu informaciju; whereas suprotstavlja dve klauze.
Whereas pravi eksplicitan kontrast između dve klauze.
