First & Second Conditional
Prvi kondicional govori o realnoj budućoj mogućnosti; drugi o zamišljenim ili malo verovatnim situacijama.
First conditional
If + Present Simple, will + infinitiv: realna mogućnost u budućnosti.
Posle if obično ne stavljamo will u ovoj konstrukciji.
Second conditional
If + Past Simple, would + infinitiv: zamišljena sadašnja ili buduća situacija.
Uz would očekujemo hipotetički uslov u Past Simple.
If I were
U formalnijoj i ustaljenoj upotrebi često se kaže If I were you; ovaj oblik označava nestvarnu situaciju.
If I were you je tipična konstrukcija za savet.
